Should Dogs Be in Pounds?

Dogs shouldn’t be in pounds. I think that dogs wouldn’t be there if people treated their pets with respect. Why do people buy or breed them if they are not going to treat them right? I wish I knew why because then maybe I can do something about it and maybe convince people that what they are doing is wrong. Maybe I could make a society where people can come up with ideas to stop people from making a bad decision. Pets have feelings too so you should treat them like family because they are family and you shouldn’t treat family badly. Pets are intelligent creatures. Dogs know how you are feeling and if they can they will try to make you feel comfortable and happy. I picked out some thoughts about dogs in pounds.

First, dogs in pounds are depressed because they don’t have any space to play, they don’t have anybody to play with, and have no families.

Next, dogs in pounds are put to sleep because there is no room for them, they were in pain ,and no one adopted them.

Finally, dogs in pounds are there because their owners couldn’t take care of them, their owners didn’t treat them right, and they didn’t have homes to go to.

Why I chose dogs shouldn’t be in pounds is because I have a dog and I have seen some stuff on the news about people hurting their pets and I thought that it was cruel. I Am an animal lover so when I see or hear that people are hurting their pets, I wonder why they are people hurting their pets and why did they get a pet? It makes me sad to hear and see that their owner has been hurting them. So I take good care of my dog. We love him and he loves us. I hope that one day people will realize that hurting animals is wrong and that they stop hurting animals.

Horses are amazing

My favorite animal is a horse. I think horses are so beautiful and amazing. I like black horses and white horses. I was read a horse book and it said that horses didn’t look like they do today they looked like small foxes with long necks. They had toed feet and ate leaves and later on they developed hooves and they started eating grass instead of leaves. The book says horses are apart of a group called “Equus” it includes zebras and donkeys.Horses are mammals and herbivores.

Horses have around 205 bones in their skeleton. Horses have bigger eyes than any other mammal. Horses can gallop at 44 kph.horses can sleep standing or lying down. A male horse is called a stallion. A female horse is called a mare. A young male horse is called a colt. A young female horse is called a filly.Their predators are wolves and mountain lions. Their narrow faces and bodies reduce wind resistance and help horses maintain high speeds when they gallop.A horses long neck helps it eat grass. A horses tail helps it swat pesky flies.

Horses can lock their rear legs in place which allows them to sleep while standing. New born baby horses are called foals.Horses sometimes make rumbling noises called nickers which is a friendly hello. Horses make a roar when their mad. A horses leader system works with a male horse protecting the herd and a female horse to make the herds’s decisions. Horses use body language to tell how another horse is feeling.

My trip

When I’m eighteen I will go to Japan, China, and Mexico. In Mexico I would stay in a nice house with chio, my great aunt and her two sons. In China I would stay in a hotel. I would bring clothes, my ipod, and a phone. I would be very aware of my surroundings. In China I would go see The Great Wall Of China. In Japan I would have went to Osaka Aquarium. And in Mexico I would have went to xcaret mexico.

I think the problem would be I don’t know how to speak different languages but, I would learn how. I would probably want to go back because I would be fascinated by all the things around me and be the new people I meet along the way and I love making new friends especially because they’re sad I can make them happy.

life the board game

The game of life was invented in 1860. The game of life invented in Springfield, Massachusetts. The designers of the game of life are Reuben Klamer and Bill Markham. They invented the game of life to simulate a person’s life and travels from start, college to finish, retirement. In the game of life you get married, maybe graduate depending on what you chose, maybe go to night school, maybe have kids, get sued by another player, and maybe get to spin the wheel called spin to win.

A long the way you get a action card for each step. The first thing you do is get your person peg a boy or a girl pink or blue, your starting money 200k, a token and get a car. Then before you get started on the game is to decide whether or not you want to go to the college path or the career path and choose a job or wait till after college. You also need to choose a banker to pay everyone they salary when you pass a payday space. The first person to start is the youngest player and the wealthiest player wins.

My favorite sport

My favorite sport is softball. My favorite postions are pitcher, 2nd, short stop, 3rd, and outfield. I love batting too. A trick that you can use for pitching is aim for the catchers glove. Another trick that you can do is push off the pitcher’s mount. A trick that you can use for batting is to pretend like the ball is somebody you don’t like.

The worst part of softball is when it’s over because it might just be a game but to us it’s more then that we feel like when it’s over we will not see each other again. We work as a team and we become friends. We practice and practice. And try to make it to practice and games on time.

I have inproved in pitching, catching the ball to get them out, throwing, and batting. In one game we met the Amazons. They had one pitcher who was one year older then all of us. Most of the time when she pitched she hit one of us. When it was my turn all of my teammates were cheering for me she pitched and I hit the ball. I made it to 2nd base and made it to 3rd and home base. Even though we didn’t win we try our best.
